Under the direction of Paul Hill, the Gustavus Percussion Ensemble will present its fall concert in Björling Recital Hall on Sunday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. The percussion ensemble’s concert is free and open to the public.
The performance will open with Baile! Baile! by Gerald Heslip, the Teresa Leach arrangement of Dmitri Shotakovich’s Fantastic Dance Opus 5, No. 1., and Pattern Study #2 by Stacey Bowers. It will continue with Robert Marino’s Eight on 3 and Nine on 2, with special guests Matt Broschard and Bryan Voigt, and conclude with Ogoun Badagris by Christopher Rouse.
Sunday’s fall percussion concert by the Gustavus Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Paul Hill, will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.
