Balance Off Center: Gustavus Dance Company in Concert

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to present Balance Off Center: The Gustavus Dance Company in Concert on March 4 and 5 at 8:00 p.m. and March 6 at 2:00 p.m. The annual spring dance concert is co-directed by Assistant Professor Melissa Rolnick and Visiting Assistant Professor Jeffrey Peterson. The concert includes a diverse range of choreography by faculty, selected students and guest artists including Joe Chvala and members of Stuart Pimsler Dance and Theatre.

Baumgartners to Present Piano Recital Sunday

Helen and Paul Baumgartner, faculty emeriti of the Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College, will present a four-hand piano recital Sunday, March 6, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus campus. The recital includes works by Brahms, Warlock and Schubert. It is free and open to the public.

Beth Winterfeldt Faculty Piano Recital Friday

Well-known St. Peter pianist, teacher and accompanist, Beth Winterfeldt, will present a faculty piano recital in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. For this performance, Ms. Winterfeldt has invited Mankato-area pianist David Viscoli and Gustavus violist Justin Knoepfel to assist. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
