Thiel College Choir to Perform in St. Peter
The thirty six-voice Thiel Choir from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, will present a concert at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening, May 11, 2012 at First Lutheran Church, 1114 W. Traverse Road, St. Peter, Minn. The Choir's performance at First Lutheran Church in St. Peter is open to the public at no charge, however, a freewill offering will be invited to offset the Choir's touring costs.
“Origin Story” Live Action Comic Book Comes to Anderson Theatre
The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to present Dan LeFranc’s Origin Story in Anderson Theatre this May. Directed by Professor Cory Hinkle, this “comic book for the stage” will be presented May 3, 4, and 5 at 8:00 p.m. and May 6 at 2:00 p.m.

G Sharp in Concert Friday
If music clubs, like club sports, existed, the six-member men's a cappela ensemble G Sharp would be at the top of the list. An idea of a few members of the Gustavus Choir in 2011, G Sharp has become a fixture on campus. A popular fixture. On Friday, May 4, G Sharp brings its classic, close harmony to the Atrium in Beck Hall. The performance is open to the public at no charge and begins at 7:30 p.m.
Vasa & Philharmonic Share Concert Sunday
The Department of Music will feature the Gustavus Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vasa Wind Orchestra on Sunday, May 6, as part of the Honors Weekend festivities. The ensembles are conducted by Justin Knoepfel and Karrin Meffert-Nelson and will feature bassoonist Ann Pesavento. This performance, scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall, is open to the public at no charge.
