Gustavus Choir Spring Concert Sunday

For the final major performance by the Gustavus Choir for the 2012-13 season, Conductor Gregory Aune will enlist the support of a 15-member chamber orchestra of faculty, students and friends. The chamber ensemble, along with the members of the Gustavus Choir, will present the Choir's Spring Concert on Sunday, May 12 at 3:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. The performance is free and open to the public.

Rodmyre & Hanson to Present Junior Recital Saturday

Juniors Leah Rodmyre, piano and Gabriel Hanson, bass/baritone, will combine talents to present a joint junior recital on Saturday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. Cacciatore and Leifermann Junior Recital Sunday

The Gustavus Department of Music is pleased to present mezzo-soprano Madeline Cacciatore and trumpet Dan Leifermann in their junior recital, Sunday, May 12, at 12:30 p.m. They are accompanied by pianists Michael Asmus and Julie Sweet. The recital will be presented in Björling Recital Hall at 12:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Antonio Herbert Senior Flute Recital Sunday

The Department of Music at Gustavus is pleased to present flutist Antonio Herbert in his senior recital on Sunday, May 5, at 1:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. For his final recital at Gustavus, Antonio will be accompanied by pianist Beth Winterfeldt. The recital is free and open to the public.

Alexa Johnson Senior Piano Recital Sunday

Gustavus Senior Honors Recital Saturday in Björling

As part of the annual Honors Day festivities, the Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College is proud to present the 2013 Senior Honors Recital, Saturday, May 4, beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. Selected by audition, five seniors will represent the very best of the 2013 graduating class. The five recitalists chosen to perform in the Senior Honors Recital are Taylor Frey, violin; Elizabeth Hauer, euphonium; Daniel P. Olson, piano; Anna Giles, mezzo-soprano; and Antonio Herbert, flute. The 2013 Senior Honors Recital is free and open to the public.
