Five Gustavus Adolphus College Department of Music seniors have been selected by audition to perform in the 2010 Seniors Honors Recital, Saturday, May 1 in Björling Recital Hall. The honors recital is a part of the annual Honors Day celebration and begins at 1:30 p.m. The recital is free and open to the public.
Performing in Saturday’s recital are Kathryn Casey, mezzo soprano from Waseca, Azra Halilovic, piano from Minnetonka, Zachary Coles, tenor from Cooperstown, North Dakota, Ashley Tibbetts, piano from Mankato, and Elizabeth Winslow, flute from Denver, Colorado.
The audition for the Senior Honors Recital at Gustavus is open to all seniors participating in the programs of the Department of Music. A reception for the recitalists will follow the performance in the recital hall lobby.
The Honors Recital begins at 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
