Hot Dish Trio in Concert Sunday

The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to welcome The Hot Dish Trio to the campus on Sunday, March 3, for a performance in Jussi Björling Recital Hall at 7:00 p.m. With assistant professor of music Karrin Meffert-Nelson, clarinet joined by violinist Leslie Shank and pianist Susan Billmeyer, this performance is free and open to the public.

Pianist Seán Duggan at Gustavus Sunday

Benedictine monk and American pianist Seán Duggan, OSB, will be the guest of the Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College on Sunday, March 3 and will present a recital of the music of J.S. Bach beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the College's Jussi Björling Recital Hall. This performance is part of the Department's Colloquium Series and is free and open to the public.

From Bach to Bop, Caviani Trio Tonight at Gustavus

The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to present Laura Cavani and the Laura Caviani Trio in concert, Monday, February 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. The Trio includes Laura Caviani, piano, Chris Bates, bass and Dave Schmalenberger on drums. The concert is a part of the Department's 2013 Colloquium Performance Series and is free and open to the public.

The Life and Music of Theodora Cormontan Sunday at Gustavus

The Gustavus Department of Music is pleased to present Barbara Leibundguth in a faculty flute recital on Sunday, February 17 at 3:30 p.m. Accompanied by pianist Sonja Thompson, Leibundguth will present her recital in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. Gustavus Choir Returns from West Coast for Home Concert Saturday

The Gustavus Choir, one of the nation's foremost Lutheran college choirs, will present it annual Home Concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday evening, February 16, at Christ Chapel on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. Under the direction of Dr. Gregory J. Aune, the choir is returning from its nine-day concert tour through California, Arizona, and New Mexico to present this concert. The performance is open to the public at no charge.
