Concert Season Finale Highlights Gustavus Commencement Weekend

The Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and the Gustavus Choir combine forces Saturday, May 30, to present the concert season's finale performance at 8:00 p.m. in Christ Chapel. Concerto/Aria Competition winners Azra Halilovic, piano and Tom Oelfke, trombone are among the featured performers as the the symphony and choir drop the final curtain of the fine arts season on the Gustavus campus.

Wind, Percussion and Choral Concerts Fill Weekend at Gustavus

A series of ensemble concerts are scheduled for the weekend at Gustavus Adolphus College. The Gustavus Wind Orchestra opens the schedule on Saturday, May 6 in Christ Chapel. The Gustavus Percussion Ensembles open Sunday's schedule at 1:30 in Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall and the men's and women's choruses, St. Ansgar's and Birgitta finish the weekend at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in Christ Chapel. All three events are open to the public.

Gustavus Choir Presents Spring Concert Sunday

The Gustavus Choir, under the direction of Gregory Aune, will be joined by a chamber ensemble to present its spring concert, Sunday, May 1, beginning at 7:00 pm. in Christ Chapel on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus.
