Gustavus’ Anderson Theatre to Present Gao Xingjian’s The Other Shore

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College will present The Other Shore, a play written by Nobel Prize winner Gao Xingjian. Directed by Amy Seham and featuring choreography by Melissa Rolnick, performances will be held in Anderson Theatre Feb. 19-21 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 2 p.m.

Gustavus Symphony Presents China Tour Concert Sunday in Christ Chapel

The Gustavus Adolphus College Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Warren Friesen with violin soloist Brian Buckstead, will present a Home Concert performance to conclude its 15-day international concert tour in the People's Republic of China. The Home Concert will be presented in Christ Chapel on the Gustavus Adolphus campus on Sunday, February 17, beginning at 1:30 p.m. This performance is free and open to the public.

Gustavus Symphony Returns to China

The Gustavus Adolphus College Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Warren Friesen with violin soloist Brian Buckstead, is making its final preparations before embarking on a 15-day (Jan. 18-Feb.1) international concert tour in the People's Republic of China.
