Gustavus Senior Honors Recital Set for Saturday

The Gustavus Department of Music is pleased to present its annual Senior Honors Recital on Saturday, May 2, in Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall. Four seniors, Karly Slivik, Hannah Wunsch, Mark Wamma and Erik Mahon have been selected to participate in the Honors Recital which begins at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Mankato Violinist Mark Wamma to Present Junior Recital at Gustavus

Mankato area violinist Mark Wamma will present his junior recital on Sunday, March 2, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Gustavus Adolphus College's Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall. Accompanied by pianist Beth Winterfeldt, Mr. Wamma will present works by Barber and Beethoven. The recital is free and open to the public.

Classical String and Piano Trio to Present Recital at Gustavus

The trio of Nina Tso-Ning Fan, violin, David Carter, 'cello and Esther Wang, piano, will present a recital of the music of Beethoven, Faure and Tchaikovsky in Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus, Sunday, October 29, beginning at 1:30 p.m. This performance is free and open to the public.

Gustavus Honors Recital Set for Saturday

As part of the schedule of events for Gustavus' annual Honors Day, the Department of Music will present its Honors Recital, Saturday, May 6, beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. Participation in the Honors Recital is determined by audition and is limited to graduating seniors in the department. Those honored for inclusion in this year's recital include Shannon Schultze, 'cello; Kathryn Filius, soprano; Chad Fothergill, organ; Sara Butwinick, soprano; Colin McGuire, violin and Eric Wilberg, piano.

Gustavus Presents Eckman and McGuire Student Recital

The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College presents Anders Eckman, tenor and Colin McGuire, violin in a combined junior recital, Sunday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Bjorling Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.
