The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College will present a recital by members of the department’s voice faculty on Sunday, November 11. Seven members of the department, including Michael Jorgensen, Patricia Snapp, Timothy O’Brien, Christina Smith, Nick Wayne, Rebecca McConnaughey and Erin Damburger, will join with pianists Yumko Oshima-Ryan, Esther Wang and Bonnie Jorgensen in this performance. Sunday’s recital begins at 1:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall.
Sunday’s performance opens with a variety of works from the 19th century by Johannes Brahms, Vincenzo Bellini and Reynaldo Hahn, as well as 20th century works by Ricky Gordon, Ennio Morricone and Donald Swann.
