Jorgensen CD Release Recital Sunday
St. Peter musicians Michael and Bonnie Jorgensen will present a recital of voice and piano Sunday, October 4, to celebrate the release of their new recording on compact disc, ALL THE OLD, FAMILIAR PLACES. Sunday's concert begins at 3:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall.
Pianist John McKay Returns for Recital
As part of a seven-concert tour through the Midwest, Pianist John Mckay returns to Gustavus Adolphus College to present a solo recital on Saturday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall. McKay's concert tour is part of a year-long celebration of the music of Franz Josef Haydn who died 200 years ago this year.
Gustavus Music Faculty Gather for Fall Recital
Members of the Department of Music faculty join efforts Sunday, September 20 at 3:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall for a fall recital of violin, sax, flute and piano. The recital includes performances by Brian Buckstead, violin, Emily Sapa, flute, Barbara Leibundguth, flute, John Engebretson, alto saxophone, Esther Wang, piano and Beth Winterfeldt, piano.
