The Department of Music is pleased to announce a fall recital featuring eight members of the department’s faculty. The performance, Sunday, September 20, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus campus. It is free and open to the public. The recital includes performances by Brian Buckstead, violin, Emily Sapa, flute, Barbara Leibundguth, flute, John Engebretson, alto saxophone, Esther Wang, piano and Beth Winterfeldt, piano. The program includes John Harbison’s San Antonio and Arvo Part’s Fratres, along with compositions by Lukas Foss and Carmago Guarnieri.
This recital is free and open to the public. A reception follows the performance.
