Gustavus Wind Orchestra Returns to Central Europe
For the third time in 16 years, the Gustavus Wind Orchestra and Conductor Douglas Nimmo will travel to central Europe on a concert tour through Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Germany. The 73-member ensemble will present 8 concerts while on the 16-day adventure.
Jonathan Brandt Guest Trumpet Recital Saturday at Gustavus
The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to welcome Jonathan Brandt to presents a guest trumpet recital at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, at Jussi Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. Mr. Brandt will be accompanied by pianist Beth Winterfeldt. The recital is free and open to the public.
