  • Justin Knoepfel Viola Recital Cancelled

    Due to health problems, the faculty viola recital by Justin Knoepfel scheduled for Saturday, March 17 has been cancelled. Dr. Knoepfel hopes to reschedule the event for later this spring or early in the fall.

  • Student Art Exhibits Opens in Schaefer Gallery & Anderson Theatre

    The annual Department of Art/Art History Sophomore Art Majors and Art Minors show opens Thursday, March 15th in Schaefer Gallery in the Art Building. The opening reception is scheduled between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on March 15.The exhibit will be open for viewing March 15 – March 29.

  • Leibundguth Faculty Flute Recital Sunday

    The Gustavus Department of Music will present one of its own on Sunday, March 11, as flutist Barbara Leibundguth joins with pianist Esther Wang to present her faculty recital. Leibundguth’s faculty recital begins at 7:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.

  • Philharmonic & Symphony Orchestras This Weekend

    The Gustavus Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Justin Knoepfel, and the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, with conductor Ruth Lin, will present a joint concert on Saturday, March 10, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday’s performance is in Jussi Björling Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.
