Under the direction of Conductor Douglas Nimmo, the Gustavus Wind Orchestra will present the Department of Music’s season finale on Saturday, May 26, beginning at 8:00 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. The wind orchestra will continue the performance with The Irish Washerwoman by Leroy Anderson from the Irish Suite and Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold. The finale concert concludes with Alfred Reed’s Alleluia! Laudamus Te and the Festive Overture by Dmitri Shostakovich.

Saturday’s concert concludes the department’s season of over 125 performances in Jussi Björling Recital Hall, Christ Chapel, and around the campus. The public is cordially invited to attend this performance in Björling Recital Hall at 8:00 p.m. Admission to the concert is free.
