Gusties and the 2012 Minnesota Fringe Festival

It's late July in Minnesota. The temperatures are climbing and the craziness of the 2012 Minnesota Fringe Festival is just around the corner. As usual, a number of current and former Gustavus students and faculty will be performing and directing at the Festival, which will take place August 2-12 at various locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Gustavus Opens Summer Show Choir Camp

The sounds of singing and dancing in Jussi Björling Recital Hall announce that the 2012 Gustavus Show Choir Summer Music Camp has opened in the Schaefer Fine Arts Center on the Gustavus campus. The camp runs Sunday, July 15 through Saturday, July 21. Its finale performance begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in Björling Recital Hall. Tickets are not required for the performance and it is free and open to the public.

Slam Poetry Camp Featured by Free Press

Gustavus Adolphus College held its first ever Slam Poetry Camp on June 24-30 as individuals traveled from places such as New York, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Omaha to attend the unique summer offering.
