Dancer and Choreographer Renee Guittar ’12, will be performing a reprise of the solo “Excess” at Patrick’s Cabaret (3010 Minnehaha Avenue South) in Minneapolis on October 5 and 6. Patrick’s entire schedule of performances is available on-line at www.patrickscabaret.org.
The solo was initially and collaboratively choreographed by Guittar and Gustavus dance faculty Melissa Rolnick in response the exhibition of Kristen Lowe’s drawings, “Comfort Me, Said He,” in the Hillstrom Museum of Art last season. Guittar performed “Excess” in the Hillstrom as part of a special dance event in the museum.
