Olivia Reininger Piano Recital Sunday Posted on April 25th, 2013 by

The Gustavus Department of Music is pleased to present the piano recital of Olivia Reininger.  The recital will take place on Sunday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Björling Recital Hall. The concert is free for the public.

Olivia is a junior music major from Pacific Palisades, California. She is the daughter of Gale and Warren. Olivia is a member of the Choir of Christ Chapel, studies with Esther Wang and is the recipient of the Björling and Gustavus Music scholarships.

For this recital, Olivia will begin with J.S. Bach’s French Suite in G Major, BWV 816. She will continue with Preludes, a work by Olivier Messiaen, and Frederic Chopin’s Nocturne in E-flat Major, Op. 9, No. 2. The recital will conclude with the performance of Nocturne for the Left Hand, Op. 9, No. 2 by Alexander Scriabin.

Olivia’s piano recital will take place on Sunday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. The recital will be in Björling Recital Hall and is open to the public.
