Under the Surface is a student directed physical theater project by senior Jane Chung, a theatre honors major, and a cast of four new performers: Mia Cannon’16, Allison Hosman’16, Laura Johnson’16 and Kory Kolis’15 .

In describing the project, Chung writes, “This new devised work deals with the themes of our Body and Mind that are hiding under our skin. How deep can we go down to find what is hiding beneath our muscles and bones? How do we get there? What is waiting? Do we see it? This is beyond theater or dance. This is about you. Come and find it. Come and join us for the special midnight performances. There is something magical about being in a theater at midnight! Invisible thing becomes visible in the dark…”
