The Gustavus Percussion Ensemble will present its spring concert in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on Sunday, April 28 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Directed by Paul Hill, the members of the ensemble will present a wide variety of works written or arranged for percussion ensemble. The Percussion Ensemble’s spring concert is free and open to the public.
Sunday’s program opens with Tyler Tillage’s Momentum and WilliamDuckworth’s Gymel, followed by the Bossa Nova Without Instruments by William Schinstine. Moving between instruments, the ensemble will continue with Richard Kvistad’s Gending Bali and will conclude their performance with the Cissy Strut by The Meters.
The Gustavus Percussion Ensemble, directed by Paul Hill, begins at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
