The Department of Music at Gustavus is pleased to present a faculty recital on Sunday, February 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Hall. This recital will feature members of the Department of Music faculty Karrin Meffert-Nelson, clarinet; Szu Ling Wi, piano; and guest artists Rebecca Arons, cello and Susan Billmeyer, piano. This performance is open to the public at no charge. Tickets are not required.

This faculty recital will open with Leonard Bernstein’s Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, followed by the three-movement Sonatine Attique for Clarinet Solo, composed by Henri Tomasi, and the Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano by Joseph Horovitz. The trio will come to the stage after a short intermission for the final work on the program, Johannes Brahms’ Clarinet Trio, Op. 114.

Admission to Sunday’s faculty recital if free and open to the public. The performance will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Jussi Björling Recital Hall. It will be streamed live from Björling on GustavusLive.
