The Gustavus Adolphus College Department of Music proudly announces the release of the Gustavus Choir’s newest CD, “Legacy: 85 Years of the Gustavus Choir.” Available just in time for the Christmas season, the recording is now available for pre-sale online with the Gustavus Book Mark and will be available in-store at the Book Mark beginning December 12.
A celebration of the 85th anniversary of the choir, the CD features recordings from the last three years under the direction of Dr. Gregory J. Aune. The compilation includes works by choral masters F. Melius Christiansen and Bach, as well as more contemporary favorites such as Dan Forrest, Ērik Ešenvalds and Eric Whitacre.
