A Gustie Guide to the 2019 Fringe Festival

Minnesota Fringe Festival fans, that time of year is upon us once again! It’s going to be a jam-packed 11 days of boundary-pushing, innovative theatre and dance performances around Minneapolis. Gusties will take center stage in several productions this year from “Chocolate Covered Chicken Wings” to a vampire version of Romeo and Juliet. Here is your super-fan Gustie guide for taking in the festival August 1-11.

The Dwelling Place

For Liam Dwelling, an Irish writer-in-residence at THE DWELLING PLACE B & B, life is messy. A complex marriage, failing business, and unpredictable friends make it difficult to work through his writer’s block.

Black Birds on an Icicle

Genesis

Refractions Dance Project is performing its premier show Genesis at this year’s Fringe Festival. A night of concert dance uniting dancers from across backgrounds and genres to bless their audience.
