The sounds of A Renaissance Nativity, the 2010 Christmas in Christ Chapel celebration at Gustavus Adolphus College, will be broadcast throughout the region during the holiday season. Radio stations which have aired portions or the entire service in past years are now planning to include the music in their broadcast schedules.
At this time, the known broadcast schedules are as follows:
Minnesota Public Radio: portions of A Renaissance Nativity will be aired and streamed this week on Steve Staruch’s afternoon program broadcasting between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. on the classical stations of MPR.
KMSU 89.7, Mankato and KMSK 91.3, Austin: selections will be aired on December 24 at 3:00 p.m. and the entire service on December 25 at noon.
KTOE AM 1420, Mankato: selections of the service will be broadcast at 1:05 p.m., December 24.
Updates to the broadcast schedule will be posted here as radio stations across Minnesota and Iowa notify the College of their Christmas programming schedules.
