The Department of Theatre & Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College will present its annual spring dance concert March 11 – 13 in Anderson Theatre on the Gustavus campus. Under the direction of Michele Rusinko and Maria Gomez Tierney, performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. on March 11 & 12 and at 2:00 p.m. on March 13.
The annual Matching Tights Dance Company’s spring concert showcases the choreography and the dancing of distinguished guest artists, Gustavus faculty and students. This year’s concert, JUMP!, features the work of guest choreographer Joe Chvala, director of the Flying Foot Forum, and Megan Flood, as well as works by Rusinko and Tierney and the dancing of the students of the Matching Tights Dance Company.
Tickets for JUMP! are currently on sale at the Gustavus Ticket Center at 507-933-7590. Tickets can be reserved in advance or purchased at the door prior to the concerts. Ticket prices are $7.00 regular and $5.00 for students and senior citizens.
