Winterfeldt to Present Organ Recital at Christ Chapel Posted on September 14th, 2007 by

Chad Winterfeldt, Director of Music at First Lutheran Church, St. Peter and Associate Organist at Christ Chapel, will present a faculty organ recital in Christ Chapel on Saturday, September 22. The performance, sponsored by the Department of Music, is free and open to the public and begins at 3:30 p.m.

For this performance, Winterfeldt will present works for pipe organ by Bach, Buxtehude, Eben, Foote, Hancock and Paine.

Chad Winterfeldt received a doctorate in organ performance from the University of Nebraska, bachelor’s degree at Concordia College, Moorhead and a master’s degree at Yale University. His teachers included George Ritchie, Quentin Faulkner, Clyde Holloway, Thomas Murray, Charles Krigbaum and Peter Nygaard.

Saturday’s recital by Chad Winterfeldt begins at 3:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. It is free and open to the public.
