Family Weekend Concert
Performances by the combined ensembles of the Department of Music highlight the annual Family Weekend festivities on Sunday, October 10. More than 350 students from 10 ensembles will participate during Morning Worship, the Jazz Brunch and the Family Weekend Concert.
Special music will be provided by the Choir of Christ Chapel, the Gustavus Philharmonic and the Christ Chapel Ringers at Morning Worship in Christ Chapel. Immediately following worship, the Gustavus Jazz Lab Band and the Adolphus Jazz Ensemble will perform in the Evelyn Young Dining Room during Sunday’s Jazz Brunch.
At 2:00 p.m. in Christ Chapel, the Family Weekend Concert will begin and will showcase performances by the Gustavus Choir, the Vasa and Gustavus Wind Orchestras, the Lucia Singers and the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra.
Admission to all performances is free.
