The 39th annual Christmas in Christ Chapel celebration at Gustavus Adolphus College will be presented on December 2, 3 & 4, 2011. This year’s theme, commemorating the College’s 150th academic year and celebrating the institution’s Swedish immigrant heritage, is Julljus: Light from the Old World, Light to the New.
Limited numbers of tickets for the worship services and the annual buffet are available for purchase online at gustavustickets.com. Those wishing to purchase tickets who do not have access to the internet can order tickets over the phone by calling 507-933-7520. Tickets for the worship service and the buffet are sold separately and are $17.50 each.
Julljus: Light from the Old World, Light to the New will be held on the following dates and times:
- Friday, Dec. 2 – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 3 – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 3 – 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 4 – 3:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 4 – 7:30 p.m.
A Gustavus tradition since 1973, Christmas in Christ Chapel is an opportunity for the Gustavus community of students, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, and friends to gather and celebrate the birth of Christ through music, dance and visual arts. Approximately 250 students, faculty, and staff bring this program to life each year, sharing music, dance, spoken word, and prayer with the Gustavus community.
