Michael Johnson Presents Annual Winter Concert at Gustavus

Singer, songwriter, guitarist and story-teller Michael Johnson returns to Gustavus for his annual pre-Christmas concert on Friday, December 10. This holiday favorite begins in Jussi Björling Recital Hall at 8:00 p.m.

Gustavus Music Ensembles Present Weekend of Music

November 19 - 21 features concert performances by the Gustavus and Vasa Wind Orchestras, the Adolphus Jazz Ensemble and the Gustavus Jazz Lab Band, the Gustavus Percussion Ensembles, Birgitta Singers, St. Ansgar's Chorus and the Chamber Singers.

Anderson Theatre Presents Miss Firecracker Contest

The Gustavus Department of Theatre/Dance brings Beth Henley's comedy, MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST, to the Anderson Theatre stage November 18 - 21. Visiting director Rick Snyder of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre leads the student cast.

On Saturday, October 30, Nicollet native Naomi Karstad will bring to life the music of a Metropolitan Opera Soprano whose career began in St. Peter one hundred years ago. With pianist Jocelyn Dueck, Ms. Karstad brings Olive Fremstad back to St. Peter.

Norway’s Tuba Virtuoso to Perform at Gustavus

As part of his American concert tour, Norwegian tuba virtuoso, Oystein Baadsvik, travels to Gustavus Adolphus College to present a solo tuba recital, accompanied by pianist Jorgen Larsen, in Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall, Sunday, October 17 at 3:30 p.m.

Soprano Christina Smith to Present the Music of Stephen Sondheim at Gustavus

On Saturday, October 16, soprano Christina Dyrland Smith will collaborate with pianist Bonnie Jorgensen to present a recital of works by Stephen Sondheim at Gustavus' Bjorling Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.
