  • Pfaltzgraff Guest Recital Friday

    The Department of Music at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to present Wartburg College professor of music Brian Pfaltzgraff and pianist Carita Pfaltzgraff in a guest artist recital on Friday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. The Pfaltzgraff recital will be presented in Jussi Björling Recital Hall.   • Esther Wang Recital Sunday

    Gustavus pianist Esther Wang will present a recital of works by Bach, Poulenc, Doug Opel and Steven Rydberg on Sunday, October 30 at 3:30 p.m. Wang’s faculty piano recital will be presented in Jussi Björling Recital Hall on the Gustavus campus. The recital is free and open to the public.

  • Gustavus OcTUBAfest Saturday

    Gustavus’ annual OcTUBAfest, featuring compositions for tuba and euphonium by student musicians, will hit the Jussi Björling stage at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 29. Saturday’s concert includes six new compositions by Gustavus students. The performance is free and open to the public.
