Schaefer Gallery Hosts Junior Art Exhibition Posted on April 28th, 2015 by

DSC_0026An exhibition of works by junior art and art education majors is currently on display in Schaefer Gallery, located in the Department of Art/Art History on the Gustavus campus. The exhibition will be open to the public April 27 – May 16. Admission to Schaefer is free and the gallery is open to the public daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Junior Art & Art Education Majors Exhibition includes a wide variety of media in 2D from oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, graphite pencil, ink and permanent marker drawings, film and digital photography, to linocuts, woodcuts, intaglio prints and computer graphic design. Three dimensional works include bronze and ceramic sculptures and paper shadowboxes. Five short videos complete the exhibition.

The Junior Art & Art Education Majors Exhibition will be open for viewing through May 16. The Gallery is open daily and admission is free.
